“I’ve seen fire and and I’ve seen rain” sang James Taylor. For those of us in the Southern California area, we have indeed seen enough of both. But, to soothe the weary, the weekend in Southern California affords some respite in the form of musical events! Yes, there is snow Mammoth and Big Bear, and indeed, Palm Springs is delightfully mild this time of year; the beaches are great, if you can get to one, and this week the roads will be open (in two weeks look for Hollywood Blvd., to be closed due to the Oscars).
